Experience Community

Church Camp is designed to help you connect deeply with others and awaken to God in a deep and fresh way. Through intentional sessions of prayer, worship and discussions, shared activities, and downtime with your campmates, you’ll have the chance to form and grow meaningful relationships. It’s a rare opportunity where everyone—from families with young kids to empty nesters—gets to spend time together. No matter your life stage, this camp is for everyone looking to strengthen ties within our church family.

GROW TOGETHER

Over the weekend, we’ll gather for multiple engaging sessions to worship, learn, laugh, and reflect on what we hear. These times are meant to fuel reflection, prayer, and group discussions, helping us apply the teaching and awaken to God in a meaningful way. While adults are in sessions, our kids and students will have their own worship and learning moments, filled with community and fun, making sure the whole family grows together.

FIND REST

Our church’s mission is to “Pursue God’s Heart for the Restoration of All Things.” And sometimes that requires stepping away from everyday life so that God can renew your heart, mind, spirit, and relationships.  Between sessions, the schedule allows for plenty of free time so you can recharge however you choose—whether that's through fun and adventure, participating in group activities, or simply relaxing with a book. This space to pause is meant to be a refreshing break, helping you return to life energized and renewed. Our hope is that you find the Lord’s restoration during this time as we lean closer to each other and Jesus.

EXPLORE & ENJOY

The fun kicks off the moment we arrive! From outdoor adventures like pickleball, volleyball, the climbing wall, ropes course, zip-lines, waterslides, rope swings, and more, to laid-back options like relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying a game of pool or ping pong in the game room, or gathering around a bonfire with friends, there’s something for everyone. Whether you crave excitement or tranquility, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy yourself, create lasting memories, and deepen your connection with God and others through both play and fellowship.

Church camp is a valuable discipleship opportunity for adults and kids alike!

If you volunteer with kids at camp, you get to be part of their experience for the weekend while also creating space for their parents to fully engage during the main sessions without distraction.

Volunteering with kids means that during the adult sessions you will either care for babies and toddlers or be with Pre-K and early elementary-aged kids during the worship and teaching parts of club sessions. You will be given everything you need to have fun with our kiddos!

ChurchCampFAQ

Church Camp FAQs

1. What's included in the cost?
Your registration covers lodging, all meals, snacks, and access to activities at SharpTop Cove. From the waterfront with a zipline, slide, and rope swing to the ropes course, pickleball, basketball, beach volleyball, climbing wall, and game room, to bonfires, pool, hot tub, and much more, everything is included to make your experience a weekend to remember.
2. How do accommodations work?
SharpTop Cove offers resort-style accommodations with bunk beds, bathrooms, and air conditioning in every cabin. Most families will be housed with other families in spacious cabins, with moms and daughters sharing rooms on one floor and dads and sons on another, each with shared bathrooms. Each guest is provided a pillow, pillowcase, and blanket, but you’ll need to bring a sleeping bag or sheets, along with a towel. A follow-up email will be sent closer to camp with specific linen details based on your assigned cabin. A limited number of private rooms are available for families with special needs—please reach out in advance so we can do our best to accommodate (though we can’t guarantee availability). Adults attending without children will be housed separately in peer-appropriate accommodations.

4. Will camp work for my whole family?
Absolutely! Church Camp is intentionally designed for all ages to enjoy and grow together. Our Club sessions—featuring skits, worship, and teaching—are crafted to engage everyone, from kids to adults. During the teaching portion, Pre-K and Kindergarten children will enjoy a special club room for fun, age-appropriate activities. We also provide a dedicated space where parents with infants and toddlers can still be part of the Club experience.
5. Do I bring my own food?
The food at SharpTop is delicious—not your typical camp fare! We’ll enjoy five amazing family-style meals together. If you have special dietary needs, please notify us in advance. We also provide snacks, and certain cabins have fridges available if needed.
6. I don't know anyone. Am I going to enjoy camp?
Absolutely. We design the camp to help people connect quickly. You'll be placed with others in a similar life stage, and the schedule offers lots of shared experiences—sessions, meals, free time—that naturally build community. Many people have found deep friendships starting at camp!
7. What if the weather is bad?
No worries! SharpTop Cove has plenty of indoor space, and we’ll adjust the schedule as needed to make sure everyone still has a great experience, rain or shine.
8. We’re first timers. Is Camp hard to find?
Google Maps works well for most, but if you run into trouble, please call the camp number. Note: Georgia Baptist Road—the final stretch to SharpTop Cove—is steep and winding. Please drive carefully. You're carrying very important cargo: your family!
9. Did you know there is a big game on Saturday?
Yes, we did realize that—and promise it will still be a great weekend. You’ll survive without cell service for a bit... and we may even have some surprises in store for you fans!
